If Reşat Hasanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. H E P T A N's Kuddusî Özdoğal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sakut Koçaş in the 10th minute of play. Faik Zeynur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vedat Nezir having to interfere. Vedat Nezir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faik Zeynur, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 25 minutes, Reşat Hasanoğlu made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's Vedat Nezir tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 66th minute, H E P T A N's Faik Zeynur dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. After a defensive mix-up in VaRıNcA ÇaLdıR iStaNbuL's zone, Faik Zeynur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vedat Nezir came out of the goal and Faik Zeynur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Vedat Nezir managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when H E P T A N's Faik Zeynur fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Faik Zeynur struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Vedat Nezir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for H E P T A N. Vedat Nezir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faik Zeynur in the 75th minute of play. Reşat Hasanoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Vedat Nezir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
