Rich Tinker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Bonetti having to interfere. Garry Warden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zak Mawson's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rich Tinker in the 14th minute of play forced Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Peter Bonetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Freddy Friebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Peter Bonetti was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Peter Bonetti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rich Tinker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Zak Mawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garry Warden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors booed when Team Pogba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Garnacho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Chesney Eubank came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Team Pogba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chesney Eubank couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Chesney Eubank reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Bonetti. The goal made the score 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Team Pogba's Freddy Friebe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Bonetti. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddy Friebe to make the kick off. A collision led to Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Damien Auckland hit a great ball. After having played for 55 minutes, Stew Woolcock managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stew Woolcock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Freddy Friebe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's Peter Bonetti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th match minute, Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stew Woolcock to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the game, Chesney Eubank cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Peter Bonetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Chesney Eubank came free, but Peter Bonetti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rich Tinker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 86 minutes into the game, Freddy Friebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Peter Bonetti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Friebe in the 91st minute of play forced Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Peter Bonetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Garry Warden acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Will Ferdinand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Friebe in the 94th minute of play forced Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Peter Bonetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Team Pogba had played much better football throughout.
