Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Samuel Hassell made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Bill Britton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Slade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Slade came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Liam Bettney. But to his dismay, Liam Bettney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 8 minutes of play, White Eagles FC's Samuel Hassell made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shane Steadman was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 13th minute, Liam Bettney left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garlic Eaters fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 17 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's goalkeeper Shane Steadman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Les Lomas. 28 minutes into the match, Bill Britton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Slade. White Eagles FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bill Britton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Garlic Eaters were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after White Eagles FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Louie Barfield took the corner. White Eagles FC's Brian Slade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bill Britton in the 37th minute of play. If Samuel Hassell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tod Jones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodd Lister kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Les Lomas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bill Britton got free with Brian Slade in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Caton charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Caton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, White Eagles FC's William Caton got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Garlic Eaters's Liam Bettney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brian Slade narrowly saved just below the crossbar. White Eagles FC's Brian Slade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save White Eagles FC from getting a goal against them. After 85 minutes, Rodd Lister mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the White Eagles FC and the Garlic Eaters players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when White Eagles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodd Lister didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Liam Bettney rounded White Eagles FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. After 92 played minutes White Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Russ Reid. Garlic Eaters's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
