The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when T H F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trev Douglas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timothy Bostock hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 13th minute, Alex Aiston hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Rhys Tanner came free, but Marek Hewitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marek Hewitt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trev Douglas in the 28th minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Phil Dove sped through T H F C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pierce Dwyer. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaac Robson got free with Marek Hewitt in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Patrick Buckler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierce Dwyer was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Pierce Dwyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Dove in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Patrick Buckler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierce Dwyer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Pierce Dwyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Cartwright in the 46th minute of play. If Phil Dove had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Astreix&ObelixSoccer were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Phil Dove was the one to do the kick off. Pierce Dwyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phil Dove, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Robson in the 55th minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Marek Hewitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Timothy Bostock had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marek Hewitt. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timothy Bostock was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some careless play in the Astreix&ObelixSoccer defense, Trev Douglas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Hewitt. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Hewitt should have stopped the shot. Marek Hewitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Robson in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Daniel Kaye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marek Hewitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rhys Tanner, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Phil Dove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierce Dwyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. T H F C's Pierce Dwyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save T H F C from getting a goal against them. Pierce Dwyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Cartwright in the 90th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Astreix&ObelixSoccer had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
