Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Rhys Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 7th minute, James Foreman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hilsea's zone, Rhys Tanner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Allanson came out of the goal and Rhys Tanner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walter Allanson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothy Bostock, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Ashley Titmus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pierce Dwyer made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Karl Fry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierce Dwyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Trev Douglas made a precise shot to the right of Walter Allanson. Hilsea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 29 played minutes Hilsea got a freekick which was hit by Joey Sharples. Pierce Dwyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Fry, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the last second Pierce Dwyer throw himself and got hold of the ball when Karl Fry in the 34thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 41 minutes into the game, Robert Rowett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hilsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T H F C the free kick. Robert Rowett hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. T H F C's Pierce Dwyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Titmus in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
52 minutes into the match, Hilsea's Karl Fry sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierce Dwyer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pierce Dwyer came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Hilsea's Ashley Titmus. But to his dismay, Ashley Titmus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Pierce Dwyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Titmus, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th match minute, Hilsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Rowett to maneuver through the defense. Ashley Titmus took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pierce Dwyer. Pierce Dwyer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 70 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Fry came free, but Pierce Dwyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kirk Pamplin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. T H F C's Pierce Dwyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Fry in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Ashley Titmus notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of T H F C's Pierce Dwyer. Pierce Dwyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Philip Delaney fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored T H F C's protests and gave Philip Delaney a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Philip Delaney. Pierce Dwyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Fry, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Pierce Dwyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Titmus in the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Foreman in the 84th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Pierce Dwyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Trev Douglas. After 93 minutes, James Foreman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilsea and the T H F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of T H F C booed when Hilsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Foreman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hilsea's Walter Allanson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Hilsea from getting a goal against them. When Isaac Robson came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the T H F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Robson couldn't finish the play. Hilsea's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
