Martin Blakewell hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Rhys Tanner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sacha Lane made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Rhys Tanner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lee Cook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pierce Dwyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoff Howarth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Kristopher Sharpe came free, but Pierce Dwyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rhys Tanner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Barr Point's Sacha Lane proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Barr Point from getting a goal against them. Trev Douglas struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Sacha Lane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for T H F C. Sacha Lane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rhys Tanner in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, T H F C's Adrian Connett got a free kick in the 41st minute. When Isaac Robson fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored T H F C's protests and gave Isaac Robson a yellow card for diving instead. Isaac Robson hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Philip Delaney lost his temper 46 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Barr Point. Lee Cook stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Pierce Dwyer. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lee Cook made a kick off. When Trev Douglas came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the T H F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Trev Douglas couldn't finish the play. Pierce Dwyer made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Lee Cook sent off a good shot on target. Lee Cook's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierce Dwyer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Lee Cook had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, T H F C's Trev Douglas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sacha Lane narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Barr Point defense, Trev Douglas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sacha Lane. The Barr Point fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sacha Lane should have stopped the shot. Pierce Dwyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lee Cook in the 78th minute. In the 78th match minute, T H F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Connett to maneuver through the defense. Isaac Robson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lee Cook in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pierce Dwyer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, T H F C's Pierce Dwyer got control of the ball when Lee Cook tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lee Cook came free with the goalkeeper in the 88th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pierce Dwyer could save by the left post. Isaac Robson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of T H F C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barr Point:s goal. Lee Cook walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Blakewell during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th minute, Martin Blakewell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sacha Lane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Robson, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Geoff Howarth kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Lee Cook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Pierce Dwyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
