An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremy Coombe in the 3rd minute of play forced Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalkeeper Patrick Buckler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jamie Kemp hit a great ball. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Patrick Buckler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Astreix&ObelixSoccer from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute, Johnathan Morse reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Patrick Buckler. The goal made the score 1-0. Jeremy Coombe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Patrick Buckler made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Jamie Kemp sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Patrick Buckler threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jamie Kemp this time. Phil Dove hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Albert Christensen hit a great ball. Patrick Buckler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Morse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Phil Dove received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ralf Hudson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, Larry Hallam made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Patrick Buckler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Christensen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrick Buckler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Platt in the 52nd minute of play. Patrick Buckler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albert Christensen went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Patrick Buckler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Platt in the 64th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Jeremy Coombe notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Patrick Buckler. Patrick Buckler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Astreix&ObelixSoccer booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Platt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrick Buckler came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ampthill FC's Johnathan Morse. But to his dismay, Johnathan Morse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Astreix&ObelixSoccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Kaye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Willmott kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Astreix&ObelixSoccer defense, Roger Platt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Buckler. The Astreix&ObelixSoccer fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Buckler should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ampthill FC had played much better football throughout.
