Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Eddy Watson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Allanson having to make a save. 11 minutes into the game, Karl Fry recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patrick Buckler. Karl Fry showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Patrick Buckler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Fry in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hilsea's goalkeeper Walter Allanson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Kirk Pamplin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Fry came free, but Patrick Buckler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Hilsea's Ashley Titmus in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Patrick Buckler managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Hilsea's Ashley Titmus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice moves Ashley Titmus could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Patrick Buckler however easily saved by the left post. Jay Willmott hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Patrick Buckler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl Fry, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Patrick Buckler made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ashley Titmus in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Joey Sharples hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Buckler was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Karl Fry capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Karl Fry really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

After 54 minutes of play, Hilsea's Karl Fry made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patrick Buckler was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 57 minutes, Don Holland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hilsea and the Astreix&ObelixSoccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Walter Allanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phil Dove in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Karl Fry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Patrick Buckler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes in the game, Eddy Watson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Walter Allanson having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Wally Talbot ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Walter Allanson. Walter Allanson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. Patrick Buckler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashley Titmus in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Astreix&ObelixSoccer's goal looked a bit too open when Ashley Titmus came free, but Patrick Buckler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Karl Fry made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Buckler. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. In the 81st minute, Alain Bamford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 85th minute Ashley Titmus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrick Buckler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astreix&ObelixSoccer's Patrick Buckler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Titmus in the 85th minute of play. Alain Bamford kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Wally Talbot might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Allanson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wally Talbot ran back to his position shaking his head. After 93 played minutes, Hilsea's Robert Rowett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrick Buckler came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hilsea reached it. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Ashley Titmus put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Buckler. Hilsea were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Astreix&ObelixSoccer for a fine match.
