Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Crystal Phallus's Calvin Church started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dion Jefferies made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Church in the 3rd minute of play. Calvin Church scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dion Jefferies, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th minute, Calvin Church ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dion Jefferies was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Dion Jefferies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calvin Church, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes Crystal Phallus got a freekick which was hit by Garth Tate. A collision led to Crystal Phallus getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ian Berry hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Matthew Bartlett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Crystal Phallus's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Ian Bastow scored to the left of an out of position Rhys Shepherd, making the score, 1-2. Dion Jefferies didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garth Tate went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Bastow got free with Rhys Shepherd in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rhys Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martyn Heslop in the 33rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Hugh Tyson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlisle United's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugh Tyson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rhys Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Hugh Tyson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carlisle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 44th play minute Hugh Tyson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rhys Shepherd. 3-3. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ian Bastow to make the kick off. Rhys Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Tyson in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calvin Church in the 55th minute of play forced Carlisle United's goalkeeper Dion Jefferies to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marta Kante took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rhys Shepherd. Rhys Shepherd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. In the 65th minute, Hugh Tyson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carlisle United! In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Crystal Phallus. Chris Tyrell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dion Jefferies. 4-4. Crystal Phallus's Rhys Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugh Tyson in the 82nd minute of play. With a little luck, Carlisle United's Dion Jefferies got control of the ball when Calvin Church tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Calvin Church ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dion Jefferies was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-5. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carlisle United! The referee gave Crystal Phallus a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chris Tyrell, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carlisle United's Dion Jefferies. 4-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Crystal Phallus eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
