In the 13th minute Verne Silvester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Beesley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beinn Medley in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Beesley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Duncan Lawless charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duncan Lawless the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Lawless. Oscar Duke lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Leicester Lions. Ashley Hamilton stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaac Beesley. 0-2. Tyler Byfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Simon Slater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beinn Medley made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC ARK CS's Matty Wiltshire. If Tyler Byfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ashley Hamilton fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leicester Lions's protests and gave Ashley Hamilton a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Leicester Lions's Ashley Hamilton got a free kick in the 46th minute. After 47 played minutes, FC ARK CS's Frankie Ferdinand shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simon Slater came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC ARK CS reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute, Gaz Coleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, FC ARK CS's Isaac Beesley got control of the ball when Allan Bramble tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tyler Byfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in FC ARK CS's zone, Verne Silvester stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Beesley came out of the goal and Verne Silvester tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Denny Osborn fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leicester Lions's protests and gave Denny Osborn a yellow card for diving instead. Denny Osborn hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Warren Hardcastle struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Isaac Beesley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leicester Lions. A collision led to Leicester Lions getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Nathan Leyburn hit a great ball. Leicester Lions's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
