Fanis Vourexakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavlos Stamatis in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Pavlos Stamatis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fanis Vourexakis to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Trifillia.FC defense, Pavlos Stamatis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fanis Vourexakis. The Trifillia.FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanis Vourexakis should have stopped the shot. Thanasis Thomopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aris Kravaris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanasis Thomopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theocharis Lekanis in the 28th minute of the match. Glyka Nera FC's Thanasis Thomopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orestis Adamiadis in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolas Psilakis in the 31st minute of play forced Trifillia.FC's goalkeeper Fanis Vourexakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aris Kravaris's late challenge caught a Glyka Nera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aris Kravaris helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Trifillia.FC got a freekick which was hit by Aris Kravaris. Konstantinos Kapareliotis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Thanasis Thomopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fanis Vourexakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pavlos Stamatis in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Glyka Nera FC got a freekick which was hit by Nikolas Psilakis.

The wind increased when Konstantinos Kapareliotis made the kick off in the second half. Orestis Adamiadis took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thanasis Thomopoulos. Thanasis Thomopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After 55 minutes of play, Glyka Nera FC's Pavlos Stamatis made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanis Vourexakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the game, Aris Kravaris recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Thanasis Thomopoulos. Aris Kravaris showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Thodoris Mavromatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Thomopoulos having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Thanasis Thomopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theocharis Lekanis. 65 minutes into the game, Fokas Voutsinas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glyka Nera FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trifillia.FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Glyka Nera FC's Fokas Voutsinas got a free kick in the 65th minute. After 70 played minutes, Glyka Nera FC's Nikos Lianos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fanis Vourexakis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glyka Nera FC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Lekanis in the 71st minute of play forced Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Thanasis Thomopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanasis Thomopoulos had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Theocharis Lekanis from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Lambis Pavlatos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Fanis Vourexakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manolis Pantelidis in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Glyka Nera FC got a corner. Trifillia.FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nikos Lianos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Glyka Nera FC's Fokas Voutsinas to fire away a dangerous shot which Fanis Vourexakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theocharis Lekanis in the 87th minute of play forced Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Thanasis Thomopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fanis Vourexakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikos Lianos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Trifillia.FC's Aris Kravaris got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Thodoris Mavromatakis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thanasis Thomopoulos. That made the score 5-3 in the 95 minute of play. Trifillia.FC's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Glyka Nera FC had won, even though Trifillia.FC had held more of the ball.
