Bazellatin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Stratos Savouras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stratos Savouras took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Peronosporopoulos. Giannis Peronosporopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Andreas Mantarinopoulos's late challenge caught a Bazellatin F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Mantarinopoulos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Vakoufi Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Mantarinopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Bazellatin F.C.'s Isidoros Tsartsikidis got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vakoufi Utd's Nikos Soukis got a free kick in the 14th minute. Louis Theofilopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stavros Kopidakis in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Vakoufi Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Theofanis Dilberis came free, but Giannis Peronosporopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thanos Grigorakis during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stathis Rasoulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Giannis Peronosporopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Andreas Mantarinopoulos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. Andreas Mantarinopoulos hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thodoris Diamantidis, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Spyros Symeonakos got free with Louis Theofilopoulos in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giannis Peronosporopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stratos Savouras's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Stathis Rasoulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giannis Peronosporopoulos came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras. But to his dismay, Stratos Savouras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Stathis Rasoulis helped the player get up and apologised. Stathis Rasoulis hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Stratos Savouras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Giannis Peronosporopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vakoufi Utd players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bazellatin F.C. were winning 0-2.

Stratos Savouras was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Bazellatin F.C.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 54 minutes into the match, Vakoufi Utd's goalkeeper Giannis Peronosporopoulos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stratos Savouras. With a little luck, Vakoufi Utd's Giannis Peronosporopoulos got control of the ball when Stratos Savouras tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stelios Antonatos to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Peronosporopoulos stood somewhat misplaced when Stratos Savouras came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 61 minute. Giannis Peronosporopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theofanis Dilberis in the 64th minute of play. Spyros Symeonakos's late challenge caught a Bazellatin F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Spyros Symeonakos helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bazellatin F.C. booed when Vakoufi Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Spyros Symeonakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Argyris Apostolakis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Stratos Savouras dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Giannis Peronosporopoulos, 0-4. 84 minutes into the match, Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Peronosporopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Bazellatin F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bazellatin F.C.'s Stratos Savouras got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Stathis Rasoulis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giannis Peronosporopoulos. The goal made the score 0-7. Bazellatin F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
