After 10 played minutes Vakoufi Utd got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Kanakakis. Thymios Tsioufis made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Giorgos Kanakakis sent off a good shot on target. Thymios Tsioufis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stavros Kopidakis in the 18th minute of play. Dimitris Papachristos's late challenge caught a Vakoufi Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Papachristos helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes KAFSONAS F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Dimitris Papachristos. Thymios Tsioufis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stavros Kopidakis in the 20th minute of play. If Stavros Kopidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vakoufi Utd were furious when Andreas Mantarinopoulos was red carded, 23 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Andreas Mantarinopoulos hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Giorgos Kanakakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thymios Tsioufis having to interfere. In the 29th match minute, KAFSONAS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iakovos Meletiadis to maneuver through the defense. Giannis Peronosporopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papachristos in the 32nd minute of the match. Giannis Peronosporopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dimitris Papachristos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Telis Mouzakis took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Giannis Peronosporopoulos. Giannis Peronosporopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Giannis Peronosporopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Telis Mouzakis in the 39th minute of the match. Vakoufi Utd's Giorgos Kanakakis got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. KAFSONAS F.C.'s Thymios Tsioufis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save KAFSONAS F.C. from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Telis Mouzakis was the one to do the kick off. In the 63rd match minute, KAFSONAS F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Stratopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Thymios Tsioufis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Kanakakis in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Markos Stratopoulos seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Markos Stratopoulos the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KAFSONAS F.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Markos Stratopoulos had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of KAFSONAS F.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vakoufi Utd:s goal. KAFSONAS F.C.:s Thymios Tsioufis showed great skill when he stopped Stavros Kopidakis:s penalty. In the 66th minute, Stavros Kopidakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vakoufi Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, KAFSONAS F.C.'s Anestis Lisgaras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giannis Peronosporopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thymios Tsioufis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Spyros Symeonakos's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Dimitris Papachristos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Spyros Symeonakos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Vakoufi Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Spyros Symeonakos couldn't finish the play. Giorgos Kanakakis struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Thymios Tsioufis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vakoufi Utd. Trifon Chelioudakis scored 2-3 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Peronosporopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trifon Chelioudakis got free with Giannis Peronosporopoulos in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giorgos Kanakakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KAFSONAS F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
