Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) In the 5th minute Diogenis Kanelidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panagiotis Kastanis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, ERGOTELIS's Vaggelis Tsigounakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Vassilis Mavrofridis fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipochσrion FC's protests and gave Vassilis Mavrofridis a yellow card for diving instead. Vassilis Mavrofridis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Lipochσrion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Kapetanos to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, ERGOTELIS's Tasos Karypidis tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Kontosoros in the 16th minute of play forced Lipochσrion FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Pirtsos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Markos Fragatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Kontosoros in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dimitris Pirtsos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panagiotis Kastanis came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Lipochσrion FC's Diogenis Kanelidis. But to his dismay, Diogenis Kanelidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Diogenis Kanelidis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panagiotis Kastanis. ERGOTELIS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diogenis Kanelidis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Panagiotis Kastanis came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lipochσrion FC's Diogenis Kanelidis. But to his dismay, Diogenis Kanelidis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After some careless play in the Lipochσrion FC defense, Nikos Kontosoros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitris Pirtsos. The Lipochσrion FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitris Pirtsos should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Diogenis Kanelidis made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Lipochσrion FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Dionysis Giannakoulis hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thymios Vourousis during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 59 minutes into the game, one of ERGOTELIS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Christos Mantziris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panagiotis Kastanis having to make a save. After 73 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Dimakoglou. Panagiotis Kastanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diogenis Kanelidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ERGOTELIS's zone, Diogenis Kanelidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panagiotis Kastanis came out of the goal and Diogenis Kanelidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ERGOTELIS made a substitution. Giannis Chasiotis replaced Christos Dimitriadis. A collision led to ERGOTELIS getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Akis Viglakis hit a great ball. Panagiotis Kastanis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diogenis Kanelidis in the 84th minute. Christos Mantziris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diogenis Kanelidis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 89th minute. Lipochσrion FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Panagiotis Kastanis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christos Mantziris, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. ERGOTELIS's Thanasis Rizos suffered a concussion in the 92nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Dionysis Giannakoulis got his second yellow card in the match during the 92nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. ERGOTELIS's Giorgos Kazantzos was substituted for Thanasis Rizos. Dionysis Giannakoulis hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Lipochσrion FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over ERGOTELIS's much stronger midfield.
