Efthimis Kazantzatos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Diogenis Kanelidis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lipochσrion FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, O.T.E's Charis Kopanidis got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dionysis Giannakoulis scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efthimis Kazantzatos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efthimis Kazantzatos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogenis Kanelidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vassilis Mavrofridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Efthimis Kazantzatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Diogenis Kanelidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vassilis Mavrofridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Efthimis Kazantzatos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionysis Giannakoulis in the 43rd minute of the match. After having played for 48 minutes, Dionysis Giannakoulis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipochσrion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionysis Giannakoulis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Ntinos Kousas made the kick off in the second half. Dimitris Pirtsos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Kousas in the 54th minute of play. O.T.E's Efthimis Kazantzatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diogenis Kanelidis in the 69th minute of play. If Diogenis Kanelidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionysis Giannakoulis might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efthimis Kazantzatos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dionysis Giannakoulis ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Mavrostomos during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes O.T.E got a freekick which was hit by Louis Mavrostomos. Diogenis Kanelidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. In the 84th match minute, O.T.E was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charis Kopanidis to maneuver through the defense.
