Chrisostomos Patakos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Babbis Boumis struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Adamantios Kokolakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BE COOL. Kosmas Sfakianakis's late challenge caught a BE COOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kosmas Sfakianakis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MELATES F.C. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Kosmas Sfakianakis hit a great ball. The supporters of BE COOL booed when MELATES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonis Froussos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Babbis Boumis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Stratos Moularas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, MELATES F.C.'s Giorgos Konstantellos threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chrisostomos Patakos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute Marios Kassianidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adamantios Kokolakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Babbis Boumis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to MELATES F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Chrisostomos Patakos hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Chrisostomos Patakos reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giorgos Konstantellos. The goal made the score 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chrisostomos Patakos in the 45th minute of play forced BE COOL's goalkeeper Giorgos Konstantellos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marios Kassianidis made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, MELATES F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Babbis Boumis came free, but Adamantios Kokolakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giorgos Gontzos hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Babbis Boumis's late challenge caught a MELATES F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Stratos Moularas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giorgos Konstantellos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Babbis Boumis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MELATES F.C.'s Stratos Moularas got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kleanthis Sapounelis's late challenge caught a BE COOL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kleanthis Sapounelis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, MELATES F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kleanthis Sapounelis to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in BE COOL's zone, Stratos Moularas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giorgos Konstantellos came out of the goal and Stratos Moularas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. MELATES F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
