Periklis Zorbadelos kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Panthiseiakos booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Vamvakidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Koulis Psaridis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Themos Louboutis. A hard shot by Koulis Psaridis from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Ignatios Pitsipopakis's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ignatios Pitsipopakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miltiadis Prevezanos in the 15th minute of the match. Manos Lazarakoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kostas Samoladas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christodoulos Symeonas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute Green Horses were awarded a corner. Themos Louboutis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Green Horses's Themos Louboutis to fire away a dangerous shot which Kostas Samoladas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christodoulos Symeonas in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kostas Samoladas saved Panthiseiakos from getting behind. Panthiseiakos's Kostas Samoladas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christodoulos Symeonas in the 29th minute of play. After 29 minutes, Manos Lazarakoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panthiseiakos and the Green Horses players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Petros Zabetas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 36th play minutes Christodoulos Symeonas shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Kostas Samoladas and just under the crossbar into goal. Ignatios Pitsipopakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petros Zabetas went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Green Horses booed when Panthiseiakos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Lazarakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miltiadis Prevezanos to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christodoulos Symeonas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kostas Samoladas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Kostas Samoladas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 62nd minute Green Horses were awarded a corner. Themos Louboutis went to the cornerflag to take it. 64 minutes into the match, Panthiseiakos's goal looked a bit too open when Christodoulos Symeonas came free, but Kostas Samoladas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Panthiseiakos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Green Horses the free kick. In the 96th minute, Petros Zabetas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panthiseiakos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
