Loukas Kakitsis might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ignatios Pitsipopakis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Loukas Kakitsis ran back to his position shaking his head. 14 minutes into the game, Antonis Petridis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Green Horses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTERISTAS the free kick. After 14 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Antonis Petridis. Avraam Liakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Green Horses getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Themos Louboutis hit a great ball. Green Horses's Ignatios Pitsipopakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Zotalis in the 17th minute of play. Ignatios Pitsipopakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Amanatidis in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Antonis Zotalis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTERISTAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 24th minute Christodoulos Symeonas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petros Moustogiannis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Periklis Zorbadelos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marios Amanatidis in the 31st minute of play forced Green Horses's goalkeeper Ignatios Pitsipopakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazaros Teliadis kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Avraam Liakos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. INTERISTAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Avraam Liakos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vassilis Tsobanis in the 43rd minute of play forced INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Petros Moustogiannis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vassilis Tsobanis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petros Moustogiannis having to interfere. Petros Moustogiannis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vassilis Tsobanis's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 53 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Kyriakos Kazatzis. Ignatios Pitsipopakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marios Amanatidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Green Horses's Ignatios Pitsipopakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marios Amanatidis in the 62nd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Green Horses's goal looked a bit too open when Marios Amanatidis came free, but Ignatios Pitsipopakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Green Horses's Ignatios Pitsipopakis got control of the ball when Antonis Zotalis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 played minutes Loukas Kakitsis rounded Green Horses's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-2. Despite being the better team, Green Horses failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
