The tension between the Green Horses and the INTERISTAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of INTERISTAS booed when Green Horses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermis Ntaliardos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petros Moustogiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Periklis Zorbadelos in the 6th minute of the match. Avraam Liakos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christos Velis during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 11 played minutes Green Horses got a freekick which was hit by Christos Velis. Antonis Zotalis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Errikos Gerokostas made a huge save. INTERISTAS's Markos Konstantinidis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Errikos Gerokostas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 23rd minute, Avraam Liakos made a precise shot to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. INTERISTAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 26 minutes of play, Green Horses's Avraam Liakos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Petros Moustogiannis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Periklis Zorbadelos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Green Horses's supporters rose to their feet, but Periklis Zorbadelos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petros Moustogiannis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petros Moustogiannis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avraam Liakos went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In a very dangerous position, a player in Green Horses fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Errikos Gerokostas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when INTERISTAS's Markos Konstantinidis shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-3 in the ordered_time% minute. With an all-out effort, INTERISTAS's Errikos Gerokostas threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vaios Abelas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th minute, INTERISTAS's Vaios Abelas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Errikos Gerokostas. Errikos Gerokostas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antonis Zotalis was the one to do the kick off. Petros Moustogiannis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christodoulos Symeonas in the 53rd minute of play. Tasos Terzis charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tasos Terzis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Green Horses booed when INTERISTAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tasos Terzis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Errikos Gerokostas came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by INTERISTAS's Antonis Zotalis. But to his dismay, Antonis Zotalis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. In the 62nd match minute, INTERISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinon Liakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goal looked a bit too open when Christodoulos Symeonas came free, but Petros Moustogiannis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Green Horses's Errikos Gerokostas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonis Zotalis in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Petridis to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the INTERISTAS defense, Periklis Zorbadelos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petros Moustogiannis. The INTERISTAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petros Moustogiannis should have stopped the shot. Odysseas Mentis's late challenge caught a INTERISTAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odysseas Mentis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odysseas Mentis to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute of the match Markos Konstantinidis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Errikos Gerokostas skillfully saved the ball. Christodoulos Symeonas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petros Moustogiannis came out and tried to block the shot, but Christodoulos Symeonas slotted it home off the left post making it 4-6 in the 80th minute. Antonis Zotalis's late challenge caught a Green Horses's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonis Zotalis helped the player get up and apologised. Antonis Zotalis hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, INTERISTAS's goalkeeper Petros Moustogiannis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Periklis Zorbadelos. In the 86th minute, Periklis Zorbadelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Green Horses fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-7. Errikos Gerokostas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Zotalis in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Green Horses had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
