Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Stergios Panoulias took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpected shot in the 5th minute by Dimitris Koulouris got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Panthiseiakos were furious when Anastasios Kastanias was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 7th minute, one of Panthiseiakos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panthiseiakos. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Sheriff. Babbis Megalios stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nikos Kontodimos. 0-1. In the 13th minute Babbis Megalios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikos Kontodimos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thalis Koulouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kontodimos having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Babbis Megalios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Panthiseiakos's Nikos Kontodimos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nikos Kontodimos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Babbis Megalios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Babbis Megalios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Stergios Panoulias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Thalis Koulouris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stergios Panoulias kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Panos Zervidis kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Sheriff getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Babbis Megalios hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Sheriff's Thalis Koulouris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikos Kontodimos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Panthiseiakos's Nikos Kontodimos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babbis Megalios in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Babbis Megalios to make the kick off. With his leg Nikos Kontodimos managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Sheriff's Babbis Megalios fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Omiros Prikourakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nikos Kontodimos came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Sheriff's Argyris Bogias. But to his dismay, Argyris Bogias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Babbis Megalios in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikos Kontodimos saved Panthiseiakos from getting behind. 61 minutes into the match, Thalis Koulouris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nikos Kontodimos, 0-6. Nikos Kontodimos was a little too slow when Argyris Bogias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 0-7. After 77th play minutes Babbis Megalios shot 0-9, a short shot which went by Nikos Kontodimos and just under the crossbar into goal. Thalis Koulouris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Kontodimos having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Nektarios Kousouridis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the game, Babbis Megalios recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nikos Kontodimos. Babbis Megalios showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Nikos Kontodimos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Babbis Megalios, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the match was over Sheriff could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Panthiseiakos throughout the match.
