Makis Kois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Odysseas Christodoulakis's late challenge caught a Tabachana F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Odysseas Christodoulakis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th match minute, Pap FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odysseas Christodoulakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Makis Kois shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitris Philipopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tilemachos Manouselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ntinos Adamakoglou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Giannis Tzougarakis fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabachana F.C.'s protests and gave Giannis Tzougarakis a yellow card for diving instead. Giannis Tzougarakis kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Makis Kois's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitris Philipopoulos was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Makis Kois in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dimitris Philipopoulos saved Pap FC from getting behind. Dimitris Philipopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Kois, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Tabachana F.C. booed when Pap FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Bakalakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tilemachos Manouselis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chrisostomos Passalis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandros Karapetros hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tilemachos Manouselis was a little too slow when Chrisostomos Passalis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. Odysseas Christodoulakis hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pap FC's zone, Makis Kois stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dimitris Philipopoulos came out of the goal and Makis Kois tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitris Philipopoulos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makis Kois in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dimitris Philipopoulos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Minas Pedoulakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute, Alexandros Karakotsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Sapounakis came free, but Tilemachos Manouselis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Pap FC's Gerasimos Mezonetas got a free kick in the 65th minute. With a little luck, Pap FC's Dimitris Philipopoulos got control of the ball when Makis Kois tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Akis Vasilakopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Tabachana F.C.'s Akis Vasilakopoulos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dimitris Philipopoulos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ilias Kritikopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitris Philipopoulos having to interfere. When Alexandros Karakotsos fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tabachana F.C.'s protests and gave Alexandros Karakotsos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tabachana F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alexandros Karakotsos hit a great ball. Antonis Karagiannidis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tilemachos Manouselis. Tabachana F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aggelos Apostolidis during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Makis Kois in the 93rd minute of play forced Pap FC's goalkeeper Dimitris Philipopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ntinos Adamakoglou scored 2-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tilemachos Manouselis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
