The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas got control of the ball when Anthimos Farmakatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anthimos Farmakatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Alkis Kalaboukas made a huge save. A hard shot 6 in the game by Anthimos Farmakatos from a close distance when the talented Alkis Kalaboukas managed to make a qualified save. GREEK ARMY's players were relieved. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anthimos Farmakatos in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alkis Kalaboukas saved GREEK ARMY from getting behind. With a little luck, GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas got control of the ball when Anthimos Farmakatos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 minutes, Anthimos Farmakatos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Alkis Kalaboukas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthimos Farmakatos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthimos Farmakatos in the 18th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Alkis Kalaboukas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Thodoris Borbokis got a free kick in the 19th minute. Alkis Kalaboukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthimos Farmakatos in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Panos Athanasiadis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute GOD OF WAR were awarded a corner. Orestis Koskinopoulos went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led GOD OF WAR's Orestis Koskinopoulos to fire away a dangerous shot which Alkis Kalaboukas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Alkis Kalaboukas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michalis Bouras. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthimos Farmakatos in the 38th minute of play. Anthimos Farmakatos in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alkis Kalaboukas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Orestis Koskinopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkis Kalaboukas having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thodoris Borbokis to maneuver through the defense. In a very dangerous position, a player in GREEK ARMY fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 48 minutes, GOD OF WAR's Orestis Koskinopoulos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alkis Kalaboukas. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panos Athanasiadis was the one to do the kick off. When Alketas Vertsotis fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GOD OF WAR's protests and gave Alketas Vertsotis a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Alketas Vertsotis. Nikos Lazaridis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anthimos Farmakatos in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alkis Kalaboukas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When GOD OF WAR's Anthimos Farmakatos in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GREEK ARMY's goalie prevented a goal. If Michalis Bouras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GOD OF WAR booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panos Athanasiadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iraklis Seretis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anthimos Chatzikostas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, GOD OF WAR's Anastasios Karidis got a free kick in the 75th minute. GREEK ARMY's Alkis Kalaboukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthimos Farmakatos in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Anthimos Farmakatos came free, but Alkis Kalaboukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87 played minutes GOD OF WAR got a freekick which was hit by Anthimos Stratoulis. Alkis Kalaboukas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthimos Farmakatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panos Athanasiadis to maneuver through the defense. GOD OF WAR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of GREEK ARMY for a fine match.
