The coaching staff of Pabing SV protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hans-Hermann Kuznicki had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. With a left leg Mario Grebe saved International Thunders from getting behind. 82 minutes into the game, Thomas Gütermann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. International Thunders's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pabing SV the free kick. If Pascal Oehlert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. International Thunders were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
