Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan Kannen started the match with the kick off. After 6 minutes of play, Lanzenkirchen's Klaus Roth made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Pfaff was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Kannen in the 14th minute of play forced Lanzenkirchen's goalkeeper Erich Wimmer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felix Schlacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Kannen came free, but Erich Wimmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Felix Schlacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andreas Pfaff was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Jan-Niclas Ebus got a free kick in the 27th minute. Erich Wimmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kannen in the 33rd minute of play. Til Krupp helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, one of Poli Timisoara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Poli Timisoara. Poli Timisoara:s Andreas Pfaff showed great skill when he stopped Lukas Specht:s penalty.

After a rather tough play, Poli Timisoara's Thomas Frohlich got a free kick in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Steinborn got free with Andreas Pfaff in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Klaus Roth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, Klaus Roth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andreas Pfaff, 0-4. In the 62nd minute Jan Kannen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Wimmer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Schlacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Poli Timisoara's Andreas Pfaff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Til Krupp got his second yellow card in the match during the 70th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Andreas Pfaff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Roth in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Roth in the 77th minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Andreas Pfaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Schlacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Pfaff having to interfere. In the 82nd minute of the match, Klaus Roth tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andreas Pfaff saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 85 minutes into the match, Lanzenkirchen's Jonas Steinborn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Pfaff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 minutes of play, Lanzenkirchen's Klaus Roth made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andreas Pfaff was left in no man's land by his defense there!
