In the 13thth minute of the game Peter Nacht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Poli Timisoara's Andreas Pfaff was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to FC Hollywood getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Falko Weiß hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan-Niclas Ebus during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jan-Niclas Ebus kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Michael Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Pfaff having to interfere. After some careless play in the Poli Timisoara defense, Kilian Bakker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Pfaff. The Poli Timisoara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Pfaff should have stopped the shot. Andreas Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kilian Bakker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Poli Timisoara's goal looked a bit too open when Kilian Bakker came free, but Andreas Pfaff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Poli Timisoara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Frohlich to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Kai Hellmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Uwe Icking hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Hoffmann was the one to do the kick off. Kilian Bakker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Andreas Pfaff when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Andreas Pfaff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Bakker in the 54th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's Kilian Bakker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andreas Pfaff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andreas Pfaff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kilian Bakker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Hollywood getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Andreas Daumann hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Andreas Pfaff successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Hoffmann in the 83rd minute of play forced Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Andreas Pfaff to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattias Stromann kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Brian Hülsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kannen in the 86th minute of play. Kai Hellmann hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Uwe Icking hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lars Wehlmann hit a great ball. Poli Timisoara's Andreas Pfaff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Poli Timisoara from getting a goal against them. Andreas Pfaff was out of position in the 97 minute of play, and Michael Hoffmann capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Michael Hoffmann really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. FC Hollywood played a much better game than Poli Timisoara and deserved their victory. The Poli Timisoara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
