Zhelyazko Istatkov was a little too slow when Mavrudi Tunev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikifor Korchev made a kick off. Yanek Baldev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Zhelyazko Istatkov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denimir Stanchev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Бенковски Тетевен were the better team. Бенковски Тетевен's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
