DARAS's supporters rose to their feet, but Doctor Thiam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ventzislav Minov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Doctor Thiam came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the DARAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doctor Thiam couldn't finish the play. Doctor Thiam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ventzislav Minov made a huge save. After 14 minutes of play, DARAS's Doctor Thiam made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ventzislav Minov was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DARAS's Petar Dzhurkov got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 31st minute, DARAS's Rudi Voeler ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ventzislav Minov. Ventzislav Minov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Doctor Thiam scored 4-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ventzislav Minov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Doctor Thiam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ventzislav Minov made a huge save. After a rather tough play, DARAS's Rudi Voeler got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ventzislav Minov came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by DARAS's Rudi Voeler. But to his dismay, Rudi Voeler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 46 minutes into the game, Doctor Thiam recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ventzislav Minov. Doctor Thiam showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the game, Doctor Thiam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ventzislav Minov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Elenko Rashkov in the 56th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DARAS's Marko Kyulafliev. Marko Kyulafliev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Grivata's Iliyan Gavrilov got a free kick in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Rudi Voeler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Ventzislav Minov was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 61st minute Doctor Thiam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ventzislav Minov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64thth minute of the game Zapryan Mitikov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DARAS's Matey Trashliev was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute Boycho Barbutski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ventzislav Minov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudi Voeler in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Grivata's goalkeeper Ventzislav Minov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DARAS made a substitution. Kuzman Bondzhov replaced Rudi Voeler. DARAS's Matey Trashliev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simeon Tetikov in the 83rd minute of play. FC Grivata were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after DARAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viden Yashmakov took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Yulian Tomov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a defensive mix-up in FC Grivata's zone, Kuzman Bondzhov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ventzislav Minov came out of the goal and Kuzman Bondzhov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
