In the 4th minute of the match FC Builder Sofia got a corner. FC Grivata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rostislav Atmadzhov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Velcho Kararizov advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-0 in the 4th minute. A collision led to FC Builder Sofia getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Nesho Babalov hit a great ball. Galin Spiridonov might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Argir Kinov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Galin Spiridonov ran back to his position shaking his head. Argir Kinov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galin Spiridonov in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, FC Grivata's Vaklin Brakalov made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genadi Zhikov was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Zapryan Mitikov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genadi Zhikov was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Galin Spiridonov kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, FC Builder Sofia's goal looked a bit too open when Simeon Tetikov came free, but Genadi Zhikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nesho Babalov kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Simeon Tetikov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genadi Zhikov having to interfere. Yulian Tomov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nesho Babalov's late challenge caught a FC Grivata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nesho Babalov helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Grivata booed when FC Builder Sofia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesho Babalov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zapryan Mitikov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Grivata's Zapryan Mitikov in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Builder Sofia's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Galin Spiridonov got free with Argir Kinov in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Galin Spiridonov made the kick off in the second half. Argir Kinov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galin Spiridonov in the 55th minute of play. After 56 played minutes FC Grivata got a freekick which was hit by Velislav Shivachev. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Galin Spiridonov managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Builder Sofia's supporters rose to their feet, but Galin Spiridonov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Argir Kinov breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in FC Grivata's zone, Velcho Kararizov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Argir Kinov came out of the goal and Velcho Kararizov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Argir Kinov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velcho Kararizov in the 65th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Builder Sofia booed when FC Grivata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simeon Tetikov didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FC Grivata getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Velislav Shivachev hit a great ball. After 75 minutes, Iliyan Gavrilov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Grivata and the FC Builder Sofia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zapryan Mitikov scored 2-2 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Genadi Zhikov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, FC Grivata's Slavyan Budinov seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Slavyan Budinov the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Grivata protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Slavyan Budinov had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave FC Builder Sofia a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rostislav Atmadzhov, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Grivata's Argir Kinov. 3-2. Niki Semovski hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. FC Grivata's Simeon Tetikov got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
