Mito Smilevski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Milko Zhadalov took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mito Smilevski. Zahari Bratoev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Grisha Rakitski made a huge save. Milan Harabaliev had several of the MANCHESTER UNITED's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Grisha Rakitski as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The wind increased when Zahari Bratoev made the kick off in the second half. MANCHESTER UNITED's Grisha Rakitski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milan Harabaliev in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zahari Bratoev in the 55th minute of play forced MANCHESTER UNITED's goalkeeper Grisha Rakitski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, MANCHESTER UNITED was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milko Zhadalov to maneuver through the defense. Tzeno Berovski hit a great ball. Grisha Rakitski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zahari Bratoev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gercho Mantarkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zahari Bratoev struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Grisha Rakitski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Вежен. Mito Smilevski acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tzeno Berovski. 88 minutes into the match, MANCHESTER UNITED's goal looked a bit too open when Sava Vatrachki came free, but Grisha Rakitski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Sava Vatrachki ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Grisha Rakitski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. When Yuri Velkov fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Вежен's protests and gave Yuri Velkov a yellow card for diving instead. Tzeno Berovski got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Tzeno Berovski kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. MANCHESTER UNITED's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
