Lyubcho Ruychev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pryaporets. Krasimir Gradishki was a little too slow when Grozdan Chapkúnov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 12th minute, Angel Vardarov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Valentin Gúrkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Lyubcho Ruychev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute Zhelyo Tzingilev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lyubcho Ruychev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Pryaporets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ikonom Gopov to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Pryaporets's goalkeeper Krasimir Gradishki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Grozdan Chapkúnov. After some careless play in the VN Keleler defense, Zhelyo Tzingilev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lyubcho Ruychev. The VN Keleler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lyubcho Ruychev should have stopped the shot. Volodya Sarachev charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Volodya Sarachev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to VN Keleler getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Volodya Sarachev hit a great ball. If Valentin Gúrkov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Pryaporets's Simo Morfov was substituted for Antoni Kotov. The wind increased when Zhelyo Tzingilev made the kick off in the second half. Sergey Munev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Krasimir Gradishki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pryaporets's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Gúrkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gyuro Gúrdanov fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pryaporets's protests and gave Gyuro Gúrdanov a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Pryaporets was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gyuro Gúrdanov to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rostislav Mazakov in the 68th minute of play forced Pryaporets's goalkeeper Krasimir Gradishki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pryaporets booed when VN Keleler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Vardarov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zhelyo Tzingilev got free with Lyubcho Ruychev in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zhelyo Tzingilev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Lyubcho Ruychev made a huge save. In the 97th minute Angel Vardarov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krasimir Gradishki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Pryaporets players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
