Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) FC Kyustendil's Viktor Medarov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Kuzman Nedelkov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Noer. FC Kyustendil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kuzman Nedelkov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zlatin Filchovski in the 9th minute of play forced ЦСКА's goalkeeper Toshko Topalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Naycho Vekilov could shoot a difficult shot in the 13th minute, which Toshko Topalski however easily saved by the left post. Kuzman Nedelkov's late challenge caught a FC Kyustendil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kuzman Nedelkov helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Kuzman Nedelkov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Naycho Vekilov dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toshko Topalski, 1-1. Kuzman Nedelkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Noer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuzman Nedelkov ran back to his position shaking his head. Toshko Topalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatin Filchovski in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ЦСКА's Yosif Pimpirev got a free kick in the 29th minute. ЦСКА's Toshko Topalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zlatin Filchovski in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to ЦСКА getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Denimir Bidzhev hit a great ball. Viktor Medarov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Toshko Topalski made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, Ivo Dzhambazki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kyustendil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 47th minute Naycho Vekilov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toshko Topalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kuzman Nedelkov made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Yosif Pimpirev managed to get in a good position for a shot. ЦСКА's supporters rose to their feet, but Yosif Pimpirev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Noer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in ЦСКА's zone, Zlatin Filchovski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toshko Topalski came out of the goal and Zlatin Filchovski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toshko Topalski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viktor Medarov's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Denimir Bidzhev hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Toshko Topalski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naycho Vekilov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Medarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Toshko Topalski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Zlatin Filchovski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kyustendil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After 85 minutes, Viktor Medarov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kyustendil and the ЦСКА players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manuel Noer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the FC Kyustendil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
