After a rather tough play, Karhulan Veikot's Turo Raninen got a free kick in the 21st minute. 26 minutes into the game, Turo Raninen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Manne Vapaniemi. Turo Raninen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Karhulan Veikot's attentive Henrik Markkanen managed to snatch the ball when Topias Koskinen made a throw-in in the 30th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Nuutti Kesä hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Jones booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turo Raninen didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Jones's Topias Koskinen in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aadolf Martikainen to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC Jones's Hannu Louke was substituted for Eevert Kahra. Turo Raninen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Jones booed when Karhulan Veikot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismo Kanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 89 in the game by Ville Kaukomaa from a close distance when the talented Samuel Pihkala managed to make a qualified save. Karhulan Veikot's players were relieved. Olavi Nummelin hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. After 95 played minutes FC Jones got a freekick which was hit by Topias Koskinen. Aadolf Martikainen's late challenge caught a FC Jones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aadolf Martikainen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, Aadolf Martikainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Karhulan Veikot were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Jones for much of the match.
