If Eevert Hati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Porvoon Futura's Valentin Salonen got a free kick in the 29th minute. Eerik Vähä's late challenge caught a Palloketut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eerik Vähä helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Porvoon Futura getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eerik Vähä hit a great ball. Eevert Hati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Iivo Mäkitalo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Porvoon Futura's Pauli Kärkkäinen. Pauli Kärkkäinen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iivo Mäkitalo to make the kick off. Pauli Kärkkäinen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Porvoon Futura's Pauli Kärkkäinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aku Welling in the 77th minute of play. The supporters of Palloketut booed when Porvoon Futura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ari Luoma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Palloketut's Iivo Mäkitalo pulled a muscle in his leg after 84 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Lasse Sanevuori got his second yellow card in the match during the 84th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience held their breath when Antti Furuholm in the 87th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pauli Kärkkäinen's left hand side. In the 89th minute, Eevert Hati left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palloketut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. When Tarvo Grönholm fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvoon Futura's protests and gave Tarvo Grönholm a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porvoon Futura getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tarvo Grönholm hit a great ball. Ari Luoma kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Palloketut's Topi Porokara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pauli Kärkkäinen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Palloketut played a much better game than Porvoon Futura and deserved their victory. The Porvoon Futura players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
