Egbert Kerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batho König in the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, FC Traktor Götz's Egbert Kerber got control of the ball when Bruce Pesch tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Batho König took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Egbert Kerber to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Christian Streich hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, FC Traktor Götz's goal looked a bit too open when Heimko Schober came free, but Egbert Kerber reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Traktor Götz defense, Bruce Pesch kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egbert Kerber. The FC Traktor Götz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egbert Kerber should have stopped the shot. Egbert Kerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Pesch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Heimko Schober dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Egbert Kerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heimko Schober, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Conrad Lilleike charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrad Lilleike the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 39th match minute, FC Traktor Götz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrad Lilleike to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruce Pesch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Egbert Kerber. That made the score 4-0 in the 44 minute of play. Patrick Osterhagen hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Heimko Schober made the kick off in the second half. Egbert Kerber came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Heimko Schober. But to his dismay, Heimko Schober quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Bruce Pesch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Egbert Kerber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erich Kellner during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Egbert Kerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Pesch, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 70th minute, Lorenz Grasedieck reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sönke Odenwälder. The goal made the score 5-1. After a rather tough play, FC Traktor Götz's Karsten Brandes got a free kick in the 75th minute. Simeon Keute hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batho König in the 80th minute of play forced FC Traktor Götz's goalkeeper Egbert Kerber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ewald Preil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lorenz Grasedieck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Egbert Kerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Pesch in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batho König to maneuver through the defense. Egbert Kerber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Pesch in the 94th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. had played much better football throughout.
