Spectators: 169 (Terracing: 127, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Sebastian Lamwersiek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ulfa FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Lamwersiek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernst Breite breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albrecht Scheuerer hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Tonio Schlünz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ekkehard Nürnberger. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's Albrecht Scheuerer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ekkehard Nürnberger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Degdau in the 14th minute of play forced SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Ernst Breite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Hönig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ekkehard Nürnberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marc Hönig came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the SC Night Cats fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marc Hönig couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Albrecht Scheuerer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Night Cats's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ulfa FSV the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Albrecht Scheuerer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernst Breite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Lamwersiek, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Ulfa FSV's Leopold Janus got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute Sebastian Lamwersiek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst Breite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc Hönig to make the kick off. Marc Hönig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marc Hönig came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the SC Night Cats fans jumped to their feet. SC Night Cats's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Night Cats! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Ulfa FSV. Sebastian Lamwersiek stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernst Breite. 1-2. If Sebastian Lamwersiek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Degdau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arno Bergmann kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Sebastian Lamwersiek was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 81st minute, Vito Degdau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Lamwersiek in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst Breite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 90 played minutes, Ulfa FSV's Eiko Heinrich shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernst Breite came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ulfa FSV reached it. If Vito Degdau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Lamwersiek got free with Ernst Breite in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The SC Night Cats supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ulfa FSV's performance. The match ended with a win for Ulfa FSV.
