Ekkehard Nürnberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaden Krieglmeier in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Adnan Tilner shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ekkehard Nürnberger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes Ulfa FSV got a freekick which was hit by Frithjof Saborowski. 15 minutes into the match, Ulfa FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Schnur came free, but Ekkehard Nürnberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ekkehard Nürnberger came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Sydney FC's Ernst Schnur. But to his dismay, Ernst Schnur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 18th minute, Jaden Krieglmeier made a precise shot to the right of Ekkehard Nürnberger. Ulfa FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Wilhelm Kissling fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ulfa FSV's protests and gave Wilhelm Kissling a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ulfa FSV's Wilhelm Kissling got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The Sydney FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Sydney FC's Jaden Krieglmeier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaden Krieglmeier in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ekkehard Nürnberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sydney FC's Florian Guderian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Lamwersiek in the 28th minute of play. Ulfa FSV's Wilhelm Kissling got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Wilhelm Kissling off the ground. Wilhelm Kissling kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A hard shot by Adnan Tilner from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Ekkehard Nürnberger's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 38th match minute, Ulfa FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Degdau to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jaden Krieglmeier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekkehard Nürnberger was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. A hard shot 42 in the game by Jaden Krieglmeier from a close distance when the talented Ekkehard Nürnberger managed to make a qualified save. Ulfa FSV's players were relieved. 43 minutes into the game, Vito Degdau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ulfa FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sydney FC the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, Ulfa FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Degdau to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Michel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ekkehard Nürnberger. Ulfa FSV's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ekkehard Nürnberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaden Krieglmeier in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Lamwersiek was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Sydney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernst Schnur to maneuver through the defense. Jaden Krieglmeier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekkehard Nürnberger having to interfere. Stefan Walden hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Jaden Krieglmeier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes Ulfa FSV got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Lamwersiek. Ekkehard Nürnberger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaden Krieglmeier's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute Jaden Krieglmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekkehard Nürnberger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebastian Lamwersiek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florian Guderian. That made the score 4-1 in the 71 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Möhn in the 81st minute of play forced Ulfa FSV's goalkeeper Ekkehard Nürnberger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Gabriel Michel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sydney FC and the Ulfa FSV players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ekkehard Nürnberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernst Schnur in the 86th minute of the match. When Sydney FC's Jaden Krieglmeier in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ulfa FSV's goalie prevented a goal. After 96 minutes, Jaden Krieglmeier made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ulfa FSV's Ekkehard Nürnberger tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sydney FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
