Engelbert Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfred Klimke, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Abbo Ditsche kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Engelbert Heidemann. That made the score 2-6 in the 72 minute of play. Ken Saur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Engelbert Heidemann made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Abbo Ditsche reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Engelbert Heidemann. The goal made the score 2-7. With a little luck, FC Hamburg's Engelbert Heidemann got control of the ball when Abbo Ditsche tried to sneak it across the goal line. Engelbert Heidemann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abbo Ditsche in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Fidel Pohlplatz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Spandauer Rain Kings played a much better game than FC Hamburg and deserved their victory. The FC Hamburg players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
