Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Irvin Wulz to make the kick off. Sebastian Haas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Damir Heuchel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Laudi couldn't finish the play. Damir Heuchel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Michelsen in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th match minute, FC 08 Brühl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heribert Kimpel to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over West Staines Massive could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC 08 Brühl throughout the match.
