Engelbert Heidemann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heribert Kimpel went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Engelbert Heidemann didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when FC 08 Brühl's Rodrigo Schliemann shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Irvin Wulz in the 20th minute of play forced FC Hamburg's goalkeeper Engelbert Heidemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Hamburg getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Maiko Kressl hit a great ball. After 24 played minutes FC 08 Brühl got a freekick which was hit by Niklas Böhm. 27 minutes into the match, FC Hamburg's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Schliemann came free, but Engelbert Heidemann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, FC 08 Brühl's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Ertas Wigger came free, but Damir Heuchel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, FC 08 Brühl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Wolff to maneuver through the defense. Maiko Kressl kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Ralph Breddermann's late challenge caught a FC 08 Brühl's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ralph Breddermann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC 08 Brühl booed when FC Hamburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralph Breddermann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Irvin Wulz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Engelbert Heidemann. FC Hamburg's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heribert Kimpel in the 37th minute of play forced FC Hamburg's goalkeeper Engelbert Heidemann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Engelbert Heidemann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kilian Böhme in the 38th minute of play. Maiko Kressl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 0-4 became the score in the 43rd minute when Irvin Wulz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Irvin Wulz took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Engelbert Heidemann. Engelbert Heidemann dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Irvin Wulz to strike the kick off in the second half. Engelbert Heidemann came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC 08 Brühl's Rodrigo Schliemann. But to his dismay, Rodrigo Schliemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Engelbert Heidemann made an important save on a dangerous shot by Irvin Wulz in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Boppo Forbrig recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Engelbert Heidemann. Boppo Forbrig showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. In the 69th minute Kilian Böhme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Engelbert Heidemann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Ertas Wigger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damir Heuchel having to interfere. Engelbert Heidemann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Irvin Wulz went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. 83 minutes into the match, Irvin Wulz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Engelbert Heidemann, 0-9. Engelbert Heidemann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irvin Wulz, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rodrigo Schliemann came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Engelbert Heidemann could save by the left post. The FC Hamburg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC 08 Brühl were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
