Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) PoznanGalaxy's Ivar Arbogast started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, PoznanGalaxy's Onno Knaack got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute of the match Dario Lindenthal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Heinrich Labudda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dario Lindenthal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, PoznanGalaxy's Simon Behrendt got a free kick in the 16th minute. The supporters of PoznanGalaxy booed when Alemannia Aachen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Bressem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivar Arbogast blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pekko Badla having to make a save. Bartholomäus Trieb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to PoznanGalaxy getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ivar Arbogast hit a great ball. Reinhard Alt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thierry Segmüller during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes PoznanGalaxy got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Segmüller. A collision led to Alemannia Aachen getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Holger Theilen hit a great ball. Ivar Arbogast might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pekko Badla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivar Arbogast ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Johannes Ihm to make the kick off. Bartholomäus Trieb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pekko Badla having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Arbogast came free, but Pekko Badla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivar Arbogast took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pekko Badla. Pekko Badla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thierry Segmüller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Ihm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heinrich Labudda having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Terry Pitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alemannia Aachen's Pekko Badla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Segmüller in the 80th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Oliver Baß was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alemannia Aachen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PoznanGalaxy the free kick. Oliver Baß hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Ivar Arbogast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Pekko Badla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ivar Arbogast managed to get in a good position for a shot. PoznanGalaxy's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivar Arbogast was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pekko Badla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee ended the match the PoznanGalaxy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
