With a little luck, SC Otten's Olaf Lübke got control of the ball when Raik Sauer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sargon Baek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fulko Schwaderer hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Olaf Lübke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulko Schwaderer, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Frederik Vielmann kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. David Garefrekes scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olaf Lübke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Tiger getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Fulko Schwaderer hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Raik Sauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Lübke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Lübke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raik Sauer in the 26th minute. The supporters of Tiger booed when SC Otten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hellmut Klasen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Sargon Baek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Otten's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiger the free kick. The supporters of Tiger booed when SC Otten was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirco Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Olaf Lübke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulko Schwaderer's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Fulko Schwaderer put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Olaf Lübke. 62 minutes into the game, Edmund Trox cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Olaf Lübke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frederik Vielmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Hartmut Weidenhammer made a huge save. Edmund Trox hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Tiger's Frank-Ulrich Beier was substituted for Edmund Trox. In the 70th minute, Edmund Trox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olaf Lübke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raik Sauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Reinhold Friedl hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Tiger's David Garefrekes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olaf Lübke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Fulko Schwaderer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiger's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulko Schwaderer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Lübke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
