Olaf Lübke came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Germania München's Atze Iraschko. But to his dismay, Atze Iraschko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Atze Iraschko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Germania München fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The supporters of SC Otten booed when FC Germania München was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Ahlgrimm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goalkeeper Kevin Rösner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mel Ecker. Kevin Rösner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mirco Maier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, FC Germania München's goal looked a bit too open when Mirco Maier came free, but Kevin Rösner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Matthias Reißig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Germania München's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Otten the free kick. The long shot by Hellmuth Mönch in the 46th minute really tested Kevin Rösner's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. FC Germania München's Lars Peter was substituted for Roberto Christann. In the 49th match minute, FC Germania München was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Butzlaff to maneuver through the defense. The SC Otten players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Germania München were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Germania München defense, Mirco Maier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Rösner. The FC Germania München fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Rösner should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Helmar Fritze ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olaf Lübke was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. SC Otten made a substitution. Ronnie Schilder replaced Mel Ecker. SC Otten's Frederik Vielmann was substituted for Mirco Maier. With his leg Olaf Lübke managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when FC Germania München's Helmar Fritze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Kevin Rösner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Schilder in the 64th minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kevin Rösner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederik Vielmann in the 76th minute of play forced FC Germania München's goalkeeper Kevin Rösner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Matthias Reißig managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Germania München's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Reißig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olaf Lübke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordon Schmedemann in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olaf Lübke saved SC Otten from getting behind. Isaak Michalke struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Olaf Lübke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Germania München. SC Otten's Hellmuth Mönch couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Germania München. With 91 minutes on the clock, Hellmuth Mönch commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Otten! When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, FC Germania München's Isaak Michalke got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Olaf Lübke. The FC Germania München supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Germania München would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
