The audience thought a goal was coming when David Garefrekes got free with Joseph Hackner in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yannik Martin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Erland Magino kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Hartmut Weidenhammer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannik Martin in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, David Garefrekes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joseph Hackner. After 43 played minutes Tiger got a freekick which was hit by David Garefrekes. Tiger were furious when Hartfrid Hirtzel was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Tiger fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Delay Sports a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Max Kammer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tiger's Hartmut Weidenhammer. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Max Kammer was the one to do the kick off. Joseph Hackner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Trox in the 54th minute of the match. Tiger's Hartmut Weidenhammer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Tiger from getting a goal against them. Delay Sports were furious when Benjamin Röring was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Delay Sports's Benjamin Röring got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, David Garefrekes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tiger's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Garefrekes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, David Garefrekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delay Sports's Joseph Hackner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Hebenthal in the 71st minute of play.
