The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Volker Biermann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Volker Biermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Jan Langmaier sped through 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toralf Noldt. 16 minutes into the game, Jan Langmaier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Toralf Noldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Fredy Leber got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 22 minutes of play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toralf Noldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th match minute, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moritz Lenke to maneuver through the defense. Laurent Frister made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Thole in the 26th minute of play. After 30 played minutes SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin got a freekick which was hit by Herwig Fricke. Claes Kirn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Laurent Frister tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fredy Leber kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Jan Langmaier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Toralf Noldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bechstein in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 played minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a freekick which was hit by Helge Thole. After 45 played minutes, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Petro Diem shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Toralf Noldt came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin reached it. Claes Kirn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Volker Biermann made a kick off. Laurent Frister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volker Biermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anton Galen in the 57th minute of play forced 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Toralf Noldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Jan Langmaier in the 60th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Langmaier in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toralf Noldt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Claes Kirn charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Claes Kirn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Langmaier took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toralf Noldt. Toralf Noldt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Leonardo Güde charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Toralf Noldt was a little too slow when Jan Langmaier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-5. The crowd rose to their feet as Julius Bechstein kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toralf Noldt. That made the score 0-6 in the 85 minute of play. Jan Langmaiers short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Toralf Noldt to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Adalbert Knöchel hit a great ball. Toralf Noldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bechstein in the 93rd minute of play. Toralf Noldt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Galen in the 94th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Anton Galen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toralf Noldt was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
