After a defensive mix-up in Westerland FC's zone, Jan Langmaier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Engelbert Heck came out of the goal and Jan Langmaier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 12th minute, Wolfgang Paulus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Jan Langmaier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Westerland FC's Engelbert Heck was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 18th minute, Dirk Gutzeit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin booed when Westerland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilbert Bärenhart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Engelbert Heck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Langmaier in the 21st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Jan Langmaier put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Engelbert Heck. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gunnar Gehse during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 47 minutes into the match, Westerland FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julius Bechstein came free, but Engelbert Heck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Langmaier to strike the kick off in the second half. Matteo Kasseckert hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Jan Langmaier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Engelbert Heck made a huge save. A collision led to Westerland FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wolfgang Paulus hit a great ball. 65 minutes into the match, Jan Langmaier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Engelbert Heck. Westerland FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jan Langmaier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Engelbert Heck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Langmaier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Matteo Kasseckert was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Westerland FC the free kick. In the 69th match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matteo Kasseckert to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Jan Langmaier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 75th match minute, SC Wacker 04 e.V. The referee showed Kurt Kohlenbrenner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes Westerland FC got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Kohlenbrenner. With a little luck, Westerland FC's Engelbert Heck got control of the ball when Jan Langmaier tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Westerland FC throughout the match.
