Matteo Kasseckert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Johann Scheuerer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute of the match Petro Diem shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johann Scheuerer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute, Noel Erler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Nölte kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Matias Wedekind. Laurent Frister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gino Nölte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Gino Nölte. After a defensive mix-up in Rot-Weiss-Essen's zone, Jan Langmaier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Johann Scheuerer came out of the goal and Jan Langmaier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Jan Langmaier lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Johann Scheuerer. After a rather tough play, Rot-Weiss-Essen's Hans Schrader got a free kick in the 40th minute. Laurent Frister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halil Winskowsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jan Langmaier made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Julius Bechstein got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julius Bechstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johann Scheuerer having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Langmaier in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johann Scheuerer saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. The SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 66th minute, Jan Langmaier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Johann Scheuerer was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Hansjörg Selke's late challenge caught a SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hansjörg Selke helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hansjörg Selke to maneuver through the defense. When SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Berlin booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noel Erler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Winfried Teichmann kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When Petro Diem came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petro Diem couldn't finish the play. Noel Erler hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
