In the 5th minute of the match Tommy Trunschke sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laurent Frister skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volker Biermann in the 8th minute of play forced SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goalkeeper Laurent Frister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Julius Bechstein got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Torsten Drewes hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Leonardo Güde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laurent Frister made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Langmaier got free with Toralf Noldt in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurent Frister showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Güde, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Toralf Noldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz from getting a goal against them. When Frank Zerres fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's protests and gave Frank Zerres a yellow card for diving instead. Frank Zerres kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Torsten Drewes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Güde in the 34th minute of play forced SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's goalkeeper Laurent Frister to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 38 minutes of play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toralf Noldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute Volker Biermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Frister saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Langmaier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Claes Kirn hit a great ball. Toralf Noldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan Langmaier went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Toralf Noldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Langmaier in the 60th minute of the match. Toralf Noldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Langmaier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jan Langmaier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz got a freekick which was hit by Volker Biermann. In the 72nd minute Julius Bechstein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toralf Noldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's goalkeeper Toralf Noldt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anton Galen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Toralf Noldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 80 minutes of play, SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's Jan Langmaier made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toralf Noldt was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute of the match Matteo Kasseckert shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toralf Noldt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Toralf Noldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Galen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jan Langmaier scored 4-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toralf Noldt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Anton Galen put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Toralf Noldt. SC Wacker 04 e.V. Berlin's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
