The ball had pretty good speed, but Reinhard Widmann firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tjard Fleiner hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Rouven Dahmen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinhard Widmann skillfully saved the ball. Hornbosteler SV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Basil Schubert scored to the left of an out of position Reinhard Widmann, making the score, 2-0. Hjalmar Rilke hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Basil Schubert struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Reinhard Widmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for DJK Füchtel Vechta. 42 minutes into the game, one of Hornbosteler SV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hajo Berroth was the one to do the kick off. In the 58th minute, Umberto Vogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Basil Schubert. In the 62nd match minute, Hornbosteler SV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steen Püschel to maneuver through the defense. If Nathan Tangermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Carl Königshofen fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hornbosteler SV's protests and gave Carl Königshofen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of DJK Füchtel Vechta booed when Hornbosteler SV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Königshofen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steffen Kracht's late challenge caught a Hornbosteler SV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steffen Kracht helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Steffen Kracht hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuel Beckmeyer during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute, Hjalmar Rilke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinhard Widmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Sprey in the 95th minute of play. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
