Spectators: 164 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Helmuth Feller started the match with the kick off. Reinhard Widmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Alpermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Ottmar Renger managed to get in a good position for a shot. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters rose to their feet, but Ottmar Renger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinhard Widmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ottmar Renger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinhard Widmann having to interfere. After 16 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Helmuth Feller. Reinhard Widmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmuth Feller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ottmar Renger in the 21st minute of play forced Hornbosteler SV's goalkeeper Reinhard Widmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Günther Abermüller fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niels Lettrari, passed just outside the right post. 23 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Rilke came free, but Niels Lettrari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Ottmar Renger made a precise shot to the right of Reinhard Widmann. Hornbosteler SV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Reinhard Widmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmuth Feller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fridun Scheppach hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 36th play minutes Helmuth Feller shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Reinhard Widmann and just under the crossbar into goal. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Niels Lettrari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hajo Berroth in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Nathan Tangermann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, one of Hornbosteler SV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Hornbosteler SV players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. DJK Füchtel Vechta were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hajo Berroth to strike the kick off in the second half. Markus Alpermann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helmuth Feller got free with Reinhard Widmann in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Hornbosteler SV's Reinhard Widmann got control of the ball when Helmuth Feller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reinhard Widmann stood somewhat misplaced when Helmuth Feller came free in front of goal and shot 1-5 to the left of him in the 71 minute. Reinhard Widmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ottmar Renger in the 78th minute of the match. After some careless play in the DJK Füchtel Vechta defense, Nathan Tangermann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Niels Lettrari. The DJK Füchtel Vechta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niels Lettrari should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Hornbosteler SV's Reinhard Widmann got control of the ball when Helmuth Feller tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rouven Dahmen kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Tangermann came free, but Niels Lettrari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reinhard Widmann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Helmuth Feller showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-6 in the 97 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched DJK Füchtel Vechta eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
