The audience thought a goal was coming when Konstantin Pospěch got free with Ivan Zapletal in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Tottenham Hotspur FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Pospěch came free, but Ivan Zapletal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Marek Kysela hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Alois Maňásek kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Evžen Čáslavský scored 6-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Zapletal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 78 minutes, Jan Krejsa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho and the Tottenham Hotspur FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
